Today I used Caleb's Car Care mobile mechanic service, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. Caleb himself came out to diagnose the issue with my vehicle. While the problem was complex and didn't present a definite solution immediately, Caleb's expertise and thoroughness shone through.

He walked me through the diagnostic process step-by-step, explaining the data and tests he performed. Caleb's transparency and dedication to finding a justified path forward based on solid evidence were truly commendable. I felt confident that my car was in good hands and that we were on the right track to resolving the problem.

This was my second time using Caleb’s services. He won me over the first time with his dedication to repairing my classic Corvette fuel pump issue. Caleb is professional, punctual, upfront with his prices, and a very knowledgeable mechanic.I would not hesitate to use his services again. I recommend him highly!

I’m so glad I called Caleb. We were in San Antonio (we live in Austin) looking at a Chevy pickup for my son. I decided I wanted a mechanic to look at it and really didn’t want to have to drive back down later in the week. I called about 7-8 mobile mechanics. The ones that answered or returned a message were unavailable, except Caleb. He called me back promptly, explained the three pre-inspection levels he offers and pricing, and was onsite in something like 20 mins, which was great.

But the best part is that he was really nice, really smart and obviously extremely knowledgeable. The level-two inspection was much more thorough than I expected and he took time to explain everything he observed and shared a ton of information specific to the car we were considering (and ultimately, on his recommendation, purchased), including things to keep an eye on, things we should do to maintain this specific car/engine, etc. he took his time, didn’t rush anything.

I wish this guy was in Austin. I’ve owned a lot of cars over the last nearly 40 years of car driving and ownership, from classics to current, and talked to a lot of mechanics over the years. I’ve never come across one so honest, transparent, knowledgable, intelligent and just a pleasure to talk to. And that’s not to mention how prompt he was.

I wouldn’t hesitate to call him for any auto issue if I lived in SA. I’m not sure I wouldn’t drive down to have him work on my car!

I attempted swapping out an a/c compressor/condensor on a rusted out Toyota Tacoma on my own, broke some bolts, and decided to go the mobile mechanic route to avoid breaking anything else. After reading through all of the 5-star reviews, I decided on Caleb’s Car Care. I am very glad that I made this decision. Caleb was friendly, transparent, timely, and honest about all the work that was needed. At the end of the day, he saved me about $1K in maintenance costs if I would’ve gone to a dealership. My truck is now up and running, and I’m incredibly grateful. I HIGHLY recommend Caleb’s Car Care!
